From Albany and points West

Follow I-90 into Massachusetts where it becomes the Massachusetts Turnpike.
Take Exit 4 (West Springfield, Route I-91) onto Route I-91 North
Follow Route 91 North to Exit 19 Northampton/ Amherst.
At the end of the exit ramp, take a right onto Route 9 East (Bridge Street)
Before the Getty Station, the right lane merges onto Old Bay Road.
Follow Old Bay Road and at the stop sign, make a right onto Bay Road.
After 1.8 miles, take a left to follow Bay Road toward Hampshire College/South Amherst.
Continue another 2.5 miles to the museum. [Note: you will be going through the Town of Hadley into Amherst so don’t be confused by the street numbers.]
Look for our sign on the left. The museum is the white contemporary building adjacent to the Hampshire College Campus and is accessed through the Bay Road entrance of the campus.
