Air, Train and Bus Transportation

All major airlines serve Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, about an hour from Amherst.

Amtrak trains run regularly from New York City to Springfield, Massachusetts.

Peter Pan Buses runs hourly service from New York and Boston to Springfield, where bus connections for Amherst may be made.

PVTA Buses run hourly from Springfield to Amherst.
There is a free Five College bus service that runs throughout the school year in coordination with the PVTA. Both the 38 and the 39 stop in front of the Museum. UPDATE: The PVPA Summer 2008 schedule has been posted. The 32 Puffer’s Pond/Atkins Corner runs between Amherst Center and the Museum Mondays through Saturdays (except Friday, July 4 and Monday, September 1). Free parking (car and bus) is available at the Museum.

The Museum is located in Amherst, Massachusetts next to the Hampshire College Campus and the National Yiddish Book Center.
